Happy Birthday Barnev Valsaint! He is one of Celine Dion's backing vocalists, providing smooth harmonies and duet vocals. Barnev has worked with Celine since 1998 where he joined the "Let's 'Talk About Love" world tour. Catch him live on stage in Las Vegas at Celine's show.

A New Year, A New Song
Celine Dion surprised fans with a cover of Adele's "Hello" at her show in Las Vegas on New Year's Eve. She told the audience that Adele is her favourite singer - what an honour! Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton was at the show and thanks to Perez we have a bootleg video of Celine's performance.
The city of Las Vegas rung in the New Year with it's traditional firework display. Seven resorts on Las Vegas Boulevard set off spectacular displays from their rooftops. Traffic was closed off so that thousands of visitors could enjoy the views from the Strip.

Resident Artists in Las Vegas 2016
Everybody loves Las Vegas, including the entertainers themselves! Many of them have moved to the city or choose Las Vegas as their second home. A permanent base for shows is good news for artists and audiences, it means that stage sets and special effects are often more spectacular than you would see on tour. Resident artists in Las Vegas also have more energy and can perfect performances because they don't have the tiring effects of travel.
Here is an updated list of artist who are currently at "home" in Las Vegas.
Be sure to check performance dates before planning your trip. One lady in particular sells out frequently (Celine Dion of course) so book in advance where possible.

Merry Las Vegas Christmas
Merry Las Vegas Christmas! At this time of year Las Vegas is even more sparkly than usual. Christmas trees appear just about everywhere. Those who flew into McCarran Airport this December may have felt the presence of the dark side. There is a humorous Star Wars themed holiday display air-side in Terminal 1.
An abundance of Christmas decorations are displayed throughout the city. Resort check-in areas and lobbies twinkle with holiday cheer. One of my favourite arrangements in 2015 is at Aria. They have a super-sized majestic reindeer surrounded by a number of Christmas trees, all tastefully lit.
No trip to Las Vegas is complete without calling in at the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. At Bellagio it's impossible to forget the time of year it is when you visit. Displays change 5 times annually in accordance with the seasons. Polar bears, dressed up penguins, and a snow tunnel will guarantee smiles all around this winter.

As the kind hearted lady, Miss Celine Dion is, she pledged one million dollars to the American Red Cross foundation for the hurricane relief. This interview shows the sheer authenticity of her as a person. She says “I’m thinking with my head, I’m talking with my heart”.
