On this day two weeks ago, Celine Dion received the Icon award at the Billboard Music Awards held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. An emotionally charged performance, followed by a surprise by her eldest son, Rene Charles, who presented Celine with the Icon award.

Well deserved award.

Behind the scenes stage preparations.

Another Saturday night rehearsal and sound check… Celine sounds great as usual. I don’t get to hear the show from on stage level very often because it sounds much different down understage. Upstairs i can hear everything clearly and sharp while downstairs we get plenty of bass and Celines footsteps dominate the sounds from the stage overhead. Very cool perspective. That big box looking device in the middle of the shot is called ‘The Sniffer’ there is a sniffer on both sides of the stage and they roll up the giant white sheer curtain called the ‘Kabuki’ at an incredibly high speed at the start of the show. #celine #celinedion #caesarspalace #theunderhands #stage #earthling7 #show #strip #colosseum #night #stage #photo #stageright #set #band #soundcheck #saturday #color #lights #music #rehearsal #awesome
